The innovative 2-way slide concept makes it easy to switch between different modes, going from reading maps to watching a video with a simple slide. A numeric keypad slides out from one end of the device while dedicated media keys slide out from the opposite direction, converting the display into full screen landscape mode.

The Nokia N95 actually has two cameras, a high resolution camera on the back of the device (the main camera in landscape mode) and a lower resolution camera on the front (the secondary camera in portrait mode). You can use both cameras to take still pictures and record videos. It supports an image capture resolution of 2592 x 1944 pixels using the main camera. Images saved as JPEG files while videos are recorded in the MPEG-4 file format with the .mp4 file extension, or in the 3GPP file format with the .3gp file extension (sharing quality). Photos and video clips can be enjoyed on a compatible television thanks to the device's TV out feature and support for Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) technology.

i love this phone
its the more reliable phone in the world. even tho there is another one which is the N96 that has 16G instade of the 8GB, this one has not got that much of a difference.

Story of a scam
I bought from Electronica Direct this item, they send me a N95-4 which cost 549$, but they charge me 644$, they didn't give a right answer, They offer the Intl. version and they send the US version, more cheaper, but they charge you the expensive one, that's a scam!

the nokia n95 8gb is by far the best phone on the planet right now. sure in a year or so something else will come out and beat it but for now, this is the best. why do i say that? because this phone is more concerned with productivity rather than "neat" gadgets inside. i can get my work done, be entertained and draw stares all at the same time, with this phone. the phone is sexy, it has power and features out the wazoo. the camera itself made me sell my canon elph off. i use the camera and video all the time. the wifi is awesome on this giant screen, the gps i've actually used a million times to find my way around washington d.c. its excellent. the gps has hotspots so you can find nearby airports, malls, restaurants, movie theatres, etc. i have to go to work now so i don't have time to write all this good stuff. but you get the drift, you won't be disappointed.
